Supporters of World Hepatitis Day are lighting up landmarks across Australia with green in honour and acknowledgment of those affected by viral hepatitis, and also to raise awareness and demand urgent action from our global decision-makers to give the "Green Light" to prioritise the elimination of viral hepatitis by 2030.
Green is the colour of the global #NOhep initiative to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030. Launched by the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) on World Hepatitis Day 2016
Green is the colour of LIFE, vitality and progress. Globally, 325 million people live with hepatitis, with more than 1.1 million lives lost each year to hepatitis B and hepatitis C. On July 28, we raise our collective voices to call for more action for the people affected by hepatitis.
