South Australia's Community Events for World Hepatitis Day

  • 25 July - Information stall and Fibroscan at Arndale Shopping Centre – in collaboration with PEACE Multicultural Services
  • 28 July - Launch of Hepatitis SA's online Community News Site
    • Health Minister Picton has recorded a video for the launch
  • Small grants program
    • A number of organisations have taken up Hepatitis SA's grants to host community events to spread the messages of viral hepatitis with their communities.
    • Orgs who have successfully applied for a grant are:
      • Nunyarra Aboriginal Health Service (Whyalla) – date to be confirmed
      • Tarpari Aboriginal Health Services (Port Pirie) – multiple activities – dates TBC
      • Aboriginal Community Connect (Prospect) Activity already held – 23 July
      • Chinese Welfare Services (Adelaide) – 22 July and 26 July
      • Chinese Ethnic School (Glenunga) -  27 July to 6 July
      • Congolese Community of SA – date TBC
  • WHD Quiz for Prisons – 22 July to 31 August. Prisoners call in to the Information Line with their answers.

  • BBQ and Point of Care HCV testing at CAaSA NSP site – 31 July

  • Light Up Green Campaign for World Hepatitis Day
    • Building which will light up green include:
      • Parliament House
      • Elemental Sculpture – Victor Harbor
      • City of Unley Town Hall
      • Hepatitis SA
      • Community Access and Services SA in Athol Park
